How Can Rapid Transformational Therapy Help ME?

If you haven’t heard of Rapid Transformational Therapy yet, let me be the first to introduce you! Welcome to the incredibly effective, multi-pronged modality that I like to refer to as “hypnotherapy on steroids.” The thing about behavioral change (of whatever variety you desire), is that it will only become sustainable when the subconscious mind is on board.

Did you know your subconscious mind is responsible for 95-97% of your behavior every day? It is ENORMOUSLY impactful to get the subconscious mind communicating with your conscious mind in helpful ways instead of what it is automatically programmed to do from a very young age.

How Can Rapid Transformational Therapy Help ME?

To become our greatest versions, it is necessary to deprogram the old beliefs, and reprogram our subconscious minds with updated, more helpful beliefs. It really is this simple! For example, I’ve worked with many women around yo yo dieting and emotional eating and one thing I always say is that we are not in the business of BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION. The problem with modifying a behavior is that we can act a certain way for a certain period of time, but if our CORE BELIEFS don’t support that behavior, we revert back to the old way of being. This is what we call “self sabotage.” I’m sure you can think of a time in your life when you tried desperately hard to change something, only to find yourself back in the same place 3, 6, 9 months later. It’s not that you aren’t STRONG ENOUGH or WEAK. It’s because you have an outdated belief system that is sabotaging all your hard work. So give yourself a little grace and compassion if you have felt like a failure in times past - now you know better so you can do better!

My work as a Rapid Transformational Therapy practitioner is aimed at just this - reprogramming belief systems so that people can live happier and more fulfilling lives. I do this by using a specific form of hypnotherapy that allows us to dialogue with the subconscious mind and bring awareness to the root cause of issues and then to reprogram the subconscious mind with more helpful beliefs.

Trained by the founder of RTT, Marisa Peer, I learned so incredibly much about how belief systems from earlier events in our lives can wreak havoc later in life. The thing I loved about training under Marisa and her team was that WE all looked at our own negative beliefs as well, because let’s face it, we all have them. And who wants to work with a Rapid Transformational Therapist that hasn’t done this work on themselves as well?

What Gets Addressed in an RTT Session?

This question can hinge on what issue you are coming to an RTT practitioner for, but every session will include a variation of the following:

  1. A deep dive into the memories that are the basis of the issue you are looking to address: usually it is an exploration of 3 - 4 different memories that are the foundation of the belief system that needs shifting. My reminder to any clients who have experienced Big T trauma in their life is to remember you will not be reliving the trauma itself - just viewing it like a picture on a movie screen. We quickly glean what we need to from a memory and then move on.
  2. Determining the connection between beliefs from earlier in life and how they are affecting you today: we direct the subconscious mind in this part of the session to clearly see the link and connection between old beliefs and the issue that you have come to address.
  3. Inner child/self healing: I say this to my clients ALL the time, “I don’t care if you had the best childhood with the best parents in the whole wide world, your parents couldn’t give you what you needed 100% of the time.” We ALL have memories and moments from childhood that need our love. When our inner child remains unattended in our adult lives, what do you think happens? They throw tantrums just like a toddler. These tantrums show up in the form of self-sabotage and stumbling blocks. Once we give the inner child what he or she needs, all is well. There are a few different ways we do this in the session itself.
  4. Role, Function, Purpose, Intention: particularly important for those that struggle with health problems or have physical manifestation of symptoms, we explore that piece of you that is holding onto the [insert condition here, ie. anxiety, addiction, rash, hypothyroidism, acid reflux, etc.], because it believes it has some useful role, function, purpose or intention in your life. When we uncover “its” purpose, we can start to work with “it” so that “it” doesn’t feel the need to present itself anymore.
  5. Dialogue with the Hurter: for those that have negative memories attached to a specific person, dialoguing with that person from an energetic standpoint can bring greater clarity, healing and resolution. No, that person is not in the room with you! This is done through a visualization process that is extremely effective and therapeutic. Not all sessions will include this element.
  6. Personalized Meditation Specific to your Healing: an extremely important component of RTT is the personalized meditation made just for you! Targeted at the issue you are looking to resolve, you will listen in the session to the personalized meditation that you will be given to take home with you to listen to for the next 21 days. This is a crucial step in the subconscious reprogramming process, as we are programming in a new belief system every time you listen to that meditation.
